The combination of yoga and Stand Up Paddle boarding is a dynamic duo. SUP provides an overall awareness of core stability, balance, and confidence on the water. When paired with yoga, you can additionally increase strength, flexibility, and focus. This playful practice is a fun introduction to both yoga and SUP.
Emily Paige will guide you on a 90min SUP Yoga class. Class includes basic paddle knowledge and yoga flow fundamentals.
Appropriate for beginners - intermediate students: we ask that you come with basic knowledge in either yoga or in SUP, but experience in both is not necessary. We find that having basic knowledge in one area makes the class overall more comfortable. Suggested attire is yoga attire; comfortable, ease of movement, etc.
All scheduling/payment will be managed through the City's online recreation guide. Our full Spring schedule is listed at this time. We are limited to 8 spots per class, so please register early for the classes you intend to participate in. We've included the link for May 12th class for easy registration, but you can find the full list of offerings on the City's Rec Guide.
